AB has one chance to fix it in my opinion. CEO needs to step down as well as the majority of the marketing team… anyone on the Org chart above the person who thought it’d be a good idea to have a trans spokesman.
Then hire a new Spokesman and put his picture on the cans. Run a massive media blitz apologizing. There’s really only one spokesman who could help them. Donald Trump could make Bud Light the #1 beer again.
I think if they came out publicly and said they were wrong, it was a mistake, the people who thought it was a good idea are fired, they promise to never do, support or endorse anything like that again, that the brand might have a chance at recovering.
But they won't ever do that. They and many other woke corporations see more potential for financial benefit from a high ESG score than from actual customers and products.
That's right, these corporations see their future financial success in maintaining a high ESG score.
I think they ruined this brand.
They are beyond redemption, in my book.
The only think left is to nuke it from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
