Battery powered tools are great, I have most of them in DeWalt and Milwaukee. Also electric powered log splitter and saw are great. No petrol engine drama after a few months of being idle. Battery line trimmer is much better than the two stroke ones. But I own a Kia that does 5L/100km for $20,500 new so I can’t justify an EV. Btw I do EV conversions and off grid systems for homes.
All the Milwaukee stuff I buy for the company I work for SUCK! They're expensive as hell and have the same structure as razors; the tool is moderately priced, then the batteries are insane. Not only do the batteries fail, the chargers themselves fail. Go ahead and search "Milwaukee battery charger" and look at the prices.
