NO ONE who ever used or worked with a battery powered Tool, would even consider buying an EV. WHY? Because the batteries FAIL to take a charge, in a very short time and the Tech Is the same. The Lie of EV is, the batteries cost $33,000 to replace. EV Is a great Idea, it is simply Not perfected yet and the makers of the batteries have said out loud that there is NOT enough material to supply the 'Lie' of EV.

Battery powered tools are great, I have most of them in DeWalt and Milwaukee. Also electric powered log splitter and saw are great. No petrol engine drama after a few months of being idle. Battery line trimmer is much better than the two stroke ones. But I own a Kia that does 5L/100km for $20,500 new so I can’t justify an EV. Btw I do EV conversions and off grid systems for homes.

All the Milwaukee stuff I buy for the company I work for SUCK! They're expensive as hell and have the same structure as razors; the tool is moderately priced, then the batteries are insane. Not only do the batteries fail, the chargers themselves fail. Go ahead and search "Milwaukee battery charger" and look at the prices.

You pay a lot of money for one of these things, the battery is a longevity crapshoot that doesn't necessarily correlate with owner driving habits, they are dull/boring, the logistics of charging it and continuously watching your range, getting radiated by the chargers for it (if you can find one working), and it cost a lot to repair when it does break.

Once you figure one or more of these things out, you go to sell it and lose your ass because the used car market is full of usually smarter buyers.

The retention rate on repeat ownership is terrible because these people are also telling their friends about their experiences. The ONLY reason Telsa vehicles are holding value near ICE powered vehicles is because, somehow, the government is permitting them to beta test self-driving vehicles on the general public.

Trump already said what's going to happen when he's back, we're gonna open oil drilling contracts back up like crazy and cancel these BS electric car rebates. These dumbass super charging stations will dry up and disappear just like phone booths did until we come up with a worth successor technology to ICE cars.

When it comes to electric, hybrid vehicles are very very effective. But full electric? Absolutely not. A car needs to be able to operate continuously without long periods of recharging. Hybrids can do that.

Many power tools are excellent running on batteries. Its fast to swap the battery while charging, so continuous operation is possible with multiple batteries. But a full electric car with a massive and super expensive battery? Try driving that across the country. EVs are a scheme to cripple people in times of distress.

Oh, these stupid idiots. It happened back in 2000 when the survey said people like big cars and they were building a lot of large vehicles like the Hummer. Well, it did not turn out that way and they lose a bunch of money.

Now it is the same thing.

Keep telling everyone how ineffective these things are. There's lots of examples and people talking about it now, even the EV people are finding out they were big suckers. It's fun too, because it makes the EV shills really mad and assertive, and as we know, trolling is fun:)

It might work in the future if we can get a nuclear powered pack, so it never runs out of energy in its lifespan. But of course, we'd have to make sure the commies don't get their hands on them and use them as weapons first.

Here is an extensive analysis of EV versus ICE technology that takes a total life cycle approach to costs versus benefits. Makes some excellent observations regarding mining of minerals vital for EVs and likely trends there (declining concentration levels in the ore that will increase costs over time as less productive mines are opened). File this one away for your normie frens.

Possibly because people who buy or desire to buy EV’s are usually the ones who took the jab.

Electric vehicles are quite possibly an excellent idea, if the technology is developed far beyond what we have today. The batteries are just not developed enough to be very useful for most people. The tech needs a better storage medium and we need to be able to generate our own power. The advantage that I see is freedom from reliance on the petroleum refinement process. This is not something that an individual can realistically do on their own, but generating their own electricity? There is simply so many ways to generate electricity and most people are perfectly capable of generating electricity without relying on many big companies. I would readily welcome an electric vehicle with super capacitors that take a charge within a few seconds with a decent rate of discharge. With self owned and directed energy generation, it appeals to me as a very independent person. It simply isn't available yet, but it is possible in time with the right technology.
