I was in St Petersburg in 2019 (around the same time when Jeffrey fugly face Epstein did not commit suicide) and there were tons and tons of tchotchkes emblazoned with Putin and Trump’s faces, like T-shirt’s and mugs, suggesting that they were uniting forces! They love Trump over there.

How is that even pertinent? African nations are not happy with being bullied by the U.S. to adopt repugnant western habits such as sexual perversion, or to be put on an "Us vs Them" list regarding support for Ukraine. Russia does not meddle with African national politics. Nor does China (excepting the usual corruption).
The deep state doesn’t represent Americans or America. The vast majority of Americans don’t give a damn about Africa or the Balkans.

Changing the topic to avoid a poor argument. I said the "U.S." which is the government of the United States, and it sure as hell bullies countries, particularly recently when it proclaimed a reprisal against Uganda for its anti-perversion legislation. Other African countries take note of that.
The fact that the vast majority of Americans "don't give a damn about Africa or the Balkans" is no compliment to public ignorance and callous indifference. Does that give the government the green light to play in other lands like they are speedways for a bulldozer race?

Your problem is that you can't answer the points I have made, which are simple recognition of reality. Americans as individuals are quite welcome. But what I was talking about was the U.S. GOVERNMENT, the biggest bully on the planet. Even against its own citizens. Marines are among the finest men I have known, but it is no excuse for supporting a despotic and bullying regime. That sullies your oath of service.

It depends on what nonsense you believe. Africans in the street or Africans in national governments? I'm sure they have no emotional attachment, but they do like doing business with someone who respects them and is not out to gouge the nation or the people. Who cares where Russia is? All they know is what happens when Russians are dealing with them. And be sure to understand that by "Russians" I am speaking of emissaries, not necessarily tourists.
They don't know that much about the U.S. either, but they know enough about bullies to resent the U.S. government for its desire to change their ways. They like Americans just fine, but the U.S. as a government, not so much.
