Totally agree, but the military industrial complex have had the "Presidential UFO File" since VP Nixon gave it to them when Eisenhower had his stroke. So this is other worldly tech just backward engineered and used against us as alien invasion bullshit.
Hey, don't forget NASA was nazi and Von Braun had them natch Kirk Davies from the Nuremberg Trials. Kirk Davies was an expert on plasma fuels. My understanding is that all of the advanced aerotech from germany made its way down to Argentina. When NASA got into a bind with Apollo mission (rocket fuels) they contacted their Argentine Brothers for their rocket tech.
I don't discount the possibility; space is a very big place.
However, I am familiar with tech that would generate the observed performance capabilities. One thing that makes me wonder: why no observations of a craft arriving or departing Earth? I think the odds are greatest for Earthlings visiting from the future or more likely just unmanned tech from the future.
I don't believe anything about this, except it is a fake and ghey scare event to get control over us.
Until you've had your own encounter, you can say this. But once you've experienced one, all bets are off.

What you said, that is entirely plausible. There is even some circumstantial evidence.
Not sure I trust this guy, but the end of WW2 and some military operations like Operation Paperclip, and Operation High Jump.
