We need more CO2, not less

I try to increase my carbon footprint whenever I can.
I'm going outside to walk around with charcoal on my feet right now.
not sufficient...I'm gonna rub charcoal all over my body and face before I go out...kek
No catalytic converters or EGR systems on my cars and trucks, and I shoot as much black powder as I can find time to
If anything, we just need more plants and trees in urban areas to capture and contain the carbon
This is in ppm. The atmosphere contains 22% oxygen... that is 220,000 ppm.
To suggest a reduction of a 1000ppm is dangerous is ludicrous.
I agree, hence why I didn't suggest that.
Conversely, if we stopped burning fossil fuels then less oxygen would be bound to carbon so there would be more left over?
However, CO2 is at quite a low at the moment. If it drops to half what it is now then we will have a problem with plant life on the planet. We think CO2 levels have been about 18 times as much in the past and maybe even more when we did not have any oxygen.
Did you know oxygen was an early, deadly, pollutant? It removed life from the surface of the planet and drove it into the sea and around undersea volcanic vents where the oxygen could not reach.
Oxygen is mildew's/mold worst enemy
I didn't know that, thanks for the info.
If there is anyone here that has a large Twitter following, I want to see how people answer this.
What percentage of Earths atmosphere is CO2?
1: 24%
2: 4%
3: 1.4%
4: 0.04%
How does increasing CO2 help to increase O2?
OK, that makes sense. Patrick Moore (former Greanpeace) has always said the world needs a higher CO2 level for the plants to thrive.
Maybe the Green Movement is really just another diabolical ploy to ruin the planet and make life unsustainable?
I think it's mostly a ploy to get everyone to give up their personal property rights, as well as a massive sales industry.
It increases the speed at which plant life grows, which produces O2
That's exactly the point I hoped someone would raise.
We're bombarded with messages about having to reduce our CO2, but they never mentioned the ever diminishing capacity of the planet to sequester it, and that via a mechanism that provides us with oxygen.
This is hosted by https://www.2degreesinstitute.org/ which seems to say we need less co2.
