Hawaii Gov. in Aftermath of Deadly Maui Wildfires: "I'm Already Thinking of Ways for State to Acquire That Land”
The Hawaiian governor Josh Green revealed plans for the state to potentially purchase properties in the seaside town of Lahaina, which was devastated by the deadliest wildfire in modern U.S. history. Hawaii Governor Josh Green… “I’m already thinking about ...
Say you torched Maui without saying you torched Maui.
I do think THIS is credible.
Title should read: Democrat forcibly appropriating land from indigenous people. Wildfires present exciting opportunity to continue to steal land.
Hawaiians need to form a well armed , and well manned militia and peacefully assemble. They need to voice their disdain for the behavior and lack of action of their government , and demand CHANGE - starting with their grievance's being heard. "ALL" 100% Constitutionally Legal & Protected Actions.
Maybe if Hawaii was a red state. But they have strict gun laws and hate orange man.
Well armed meaning natives with spears LOL.
Why would state buy these, how is this any different than say a house in your neighborhood catching fire and needing rebuilt by insurance?
Imo even if they couldn't rebuild bc of some act of God clause in the insurance, I'd at least want the land, esp in Hawaii it seems like the most valuable part
Insurance costs don’t matter when it’s tax payer money.
I'm saying from POV of me as property owner.
If my house burned down, even if ins wouldn't cover it, I'd want the land. I think most people would. The value esp on an island is in the land.
So why would GOV step in and buy it? Why would I sell it to them?
I hope to God everyone refuses to sell
By "thinking" you mean to say "thought" as in it was part of the plan.
I read in another forum that they rezoned the area making the houses nonconforming so they can’t be rebuilt. They were also historically designated so a natural disaster was the only way for them to go away. This all is incredibly suspicious.
