You can have embers get blown pretty far in the wind that can ignite a house that skips over an area. It's bizarre, but still explainable.
It's a possible explanation, but the weirdest part to me is that houses are either gone or their fine. I don't see half burnt houses that would show a progression of fire spreading from one location to another.
I think a house burns down. Or it doesn’t. I can understand the flames missing some houses completely. You’ve seen it from every wildfire ever. But if a house does catch fire in those conditions, how would it extinguish itself half way through burning? You can’t be “a little bit pregnant.”
Actually, most of your furnishings have a fire retardant on them. Carpets, chairs, sofas.... Yes homes burn down but they don't usually disappear to nothing. Lots of stuff smolders but won't be a source for flames or high heat.
Not sure you realize how hot and intense this fire was. Fire retardant is designed to stop your sofa from igniting if you drop a cigarette on it. Won’t do squat to stop a raging inferno. That’s ludicrous.
A big house in my neighbourhood recently burned down. All that was left was the concrete pad, basement walls and a pile of dust. The carpet and chairs were deceased.
Yes true, but property lines remain intact. Look closely, the undamaged houses properties are still square. Almost like the embers skipped the entire property. I agree with you embers can skip, but what i see is bullshit. The wealthy burned down the poor to make their land larger.
