The United States has been participating in a nuclear sharing program with other NATO countries since the Cold War. We are currently storing around 20 nuclear weapons each in Germany, Belgium, Italy (they actually have 40, 2 bases with 20 each) and Turkey. What's really interesting is that in the event of a nuclear war all of those countries would be responsible for delivering those weapons.
I agree that this fact is concerning and I think is purposely not publicized so most of the public in the US and EU remain ignorant of the number of these weapons and where they are located. Given the fact I can read about it on Wikipedia though I'm sure Trump and patriots are aware of this and have made related plans
This is not hidden. It was the Pershing II missiles that put the final nail in the coffin for the Soviets - they just couldn't keep up with us technologically and were breaking their economy to try. There was a HUGE uproar when Bush the First withdrew tactical warheads (mostly cannon launched) from Europe, most of which were demil'ed/destroyed. The Brits held significant protests over basing nuke capable Ground Launched Cruise Missiles around the country.
And one should not overlook the fact that we are not a western European power, we are a global power....think about it
See why Russia is not happy?

Keep in mind the code to launch all US nukes is…
00000000000
https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2013/12/launch-code-for-us-nukes-was-00000000-for-20-years/
I don’t believe we have secured codes.
Yes
Yes, it dates back to the Cold War. There have been American nuclear weapons in Europe for decades.
We always have had tactical nukes in Germany. We used to have medium range missiles there too.
And on submarines anywhere they like.
