Report: Those Who Disobeyed Road Barricade Survived Maui Fire; Those Who Didn't Perished | The Gateway Pundit | by Kristinn Tayl...
The Associated Press reported Wednesday that people in Maui who drove around a road barricade blocking the lone paved road from Lahaina as fires raged earlier this month survived, while those who obeyed perished in their cars or fled to the nearby ocean.
That's a common paradigm when living under tyranny. It's increasingly the pattern we see in the United States and around the world: do what the government tells you to do ("Take your COVID shots! Make sure your children get all six hundred and sixty-six vaccines before puberty! Use seed oils instead of butter and other animal fats! DON'T use Ivermectin; it's only for horses and other animals!" etc) -- and die, or at least lose your health -- OR think for yourself, do as you decide is right, and have a better chance at life, and at a GOOD life.
This is one of the very good reasons for having a non-electric vehicle with 4-wheel drive and high ground clearance (and a constantly filled full tank of gas).
I had this epiphany a long time ago, when I had purchased a Jeep Cherokee. I was with my spouse in a large parking lot, headed for a store, when we discovered the parking lots did not communicate. There was a curb barrier between where we were and where we wanted to be. The conventional thing would have been to backtrack, get back out onto the main road, travel to the entrance to the other parking lot, and then get to our destination. A lot of bother to shift our position about 40-50 feet. And then I realized I WAS DRIVING A JEEP. So, I put it into low range 4WD and slowly crept over the curb, with much rocking and rolling. My spouse was all "What in heck are you doing?" And I was beside myself with hilarious laughter. Simple as could be. Why have such a vehicle if you are not going to use it?
Love it! And I love my Grand Cherokee too! I've always been a highly capable driver, so I better make sure the vehicle I'm driving is as well.
Also, preferably old and more “electric” than “electronic”(one or no solid state control systems). Mine is a 2020 but it is what is is.
Moral:
QUESTION AUTHORITY
BECOME UNGOVERNABLE
They keep calling it a "wild fire" but from the satellite images I have seen, the fire starts in Lahaina and wipes out the city. A wild fire tends to start in the wilderness and spreads quickly via wind and brush.
Something seems very off about the whole thing.
AWK had very interesting insights into the whole thing.
Do not comply.
So, how many public servants died saving people during the Maui fires?
I'm not sure about that. All life is precious.
I do know that the public servants assisting today are being put up in $1000/night rooms 45 minutes away though.
