I went to dinner tonight at a local restaurant. I noticed the TV right in front of us, which usually has sports on it, had the Criminal News Network on it. I finally had to ask our server, a lovely young woman, to change it. Here is the exchange:
"Could you please change the TV?" "Oh, you don't want news?" "No, actually, I don't want to watch CNN!" (mind you, the sound was off) "Oh, I don't like it either. It's fake news, right? That's what my Dad says!" "You and your Dad are absolutely right! I like your Dad!" (fist bump!) She ended up changing it to the SF/Phillies game!
I was then able to enjoy my dinner and adult beverage!
I hate how seemingly EVERY airport has CNN on every tv. I read that CNN pays the airports (or maybe did in the past) to do it.
Yes. CNN had a contract with airports back in the day. And then it expired back 20 years ago. It looks like they then created the 'CNN Airport' network to replace it. And now that's gone.

Being honest here lol, or she really didn't care what was on TV. Some people don't even pay attention to the news.
I was able to get my local gym to switch between cnn and Fox News daily
