Coke's work with scientists was a 'low point' in public health history
A team of international researchers say the non-profit GEBN was 'front group' for Coca-Cola to promote that a lack of exercise, not a bad diet or sugar, is driving the US obesity epidemic.
I respect all my fellow anons here and I try not to step on toes, but "science" on sugar is also a tool of the cabal. Articles like this are controlled opps and DS covering their backs.
Glucose and fructose are incredibly important in the way our bodies function. Non genetic (non hereditary) diabetes is not caused purely by sugar but by the gut microbiome being out of sync and the rest of your blood levels being bad, also stress levels and the entirety of the diet
Notice how these all happened at once
Doctors stating vitamins, mineral, and supplements have NO benefit
The rise of keto
The popularity of the ecig/vape
Doctors stating artificial sweetners are 100% safe
Hive mind demonization of sugar
Legal drive thru and carry out liquor, relaxed liquor laws for restaurants, etc
Obviously what works for one body does not work for everyone, but for myself, cutting out red meat 100% did more for me than being pretty much sugar free (not even artificial or alternative sweetners) for months. Before Q deep dives I spent a lot of time researching nutrition and supplements..and came to one conclusion
Body weight is NOT a metric of health, potentially an indicator but the human diet should not be designed around the scale. Most normies are thin but incredibly unhealthy. Most people are deficient in magnesium, D3, and C. Most peoplr do not eat enough yogurt or fermented foods in their place. And alcohol is the single biggest factor to poor health today
I am not sure if you have done deep dive on "white sugar" and its effects on the body. There was some documentary about Egyptian royalty way back when using sugar and their mummies.
Honey is just fine. I use honey. It's the sugary drinks that's the deadly thing. I quit that in college, not because of study but because I can taste the chemical aftertaste and my body rejects it.
I am also 90% vegetarian. I like fish sometimes.
I always had soda at home. I wasnt obese but what I called "fleshy". At 5'1" I was about 120 lbs. When I moved out I never had soda. Too strapped for that. Water..lots of water...without anything else no diet no overt exercise dropped to 103 and remained there without effort until I became pregnant at 29.couldnt stand soda during pregnancy. Too sweet. I actually dropped weight to 98 pounds first 3 months only weighed 123 the day he was born. Stayed at 103 until my son n I moved in w my parents..sodas back...so then I was up to 132..then 150!!! I'm finally back down to 118 no trying..just rarely drink soda..to me it's the thing that made my weight horribly bad. I swear it's why my son is losing his hair fast on top....he drinks way too much of it. Hes not fst..fleshy..puffy I guess better describes it. Dont get me started on how bad diet soda is. At my one job they still had machines that you got a cup of soda. Guy had to change the hoses on diet every other day and leave a bucket in the machine because diet soda ate the delivery tubes that fast. Soda sucks.
Thanks for the testimony. Natural fruit for me and honey sparingly. I do eat pastries (actually love pastries) but do it sparingly. LOL
If you think that ANY processed "food" (e.g. containing sugar, flour, syrup, seed oil) isn't bad for you, read "Gut and Psychology Syndrome"
https://files.catbox.moe/lfrjd4.epub
Thanks. I believe they are. That's why I said I love pastry but sparingly.
I have on white sugar.. Pretty much straight in drinks it is awful. It is horribly ineffecient as honey or raw cane can sweeten more in way less. I sweeten my tea only with a little honey and that is that.
Now, baking, thankfully high heat for long periods starts to breakdown sugar into glucose and fructose. The hydrogen also evaporate decreasing the yield. And thankfully, any starch or fat in a baked good also helps with glycolic impact and how fast you absorb it.
My big issue with anti sugar boils down to the normie. Take my mother, she eats that flavorless flimsy white sandwich bread Not only tasteless, but no fiber, little nutrients. I will bring home good multigrain bread, high fiber, great taste, good nutrients, and she does not eat any. I ask her why, her reply is the styrofoam like white bread has "less sugar"
And yeah, the labels confirm that, the plain white has like 2g less sugar, but is worse in every other way. My eternal face palm
Those who believe without research will continue to take the jabs. You will not be able to explain. I called that Cult of the MSM.
My body loves red meat. I'm not going to tell others to have it or not.
As to sugar, I believe the closer to earth the better. Pure cane sugar, raw sugar, and honey for example, are fine with me. Obviously, they should be used in moderation, just like anything else.
The artificial sweeteners to me are death in a packet. I tried one and never again. I don't like chemical taste either. Same with gums, sodas, etc. It's not "right" for me. Before I quit soda, there was a comeback of "real sugar" sodas in a couple of old favorites. I could definitely taste the sugar differences.
There is more than just sugar problems with soda. Caffeine in many, empty calories, feeding the sugar/sweet addiction very easily, while getting no nutritional benefits.
Then they started talking cancers or other potential problems.. the fact that you can tenderize roast or clean a toilet with Coke. Yeah, no thanks..lol.
I didn't swallow the govs anti sugar run, just like I didnt swallow the govs anti egg run. I do my own research, make decisions based for my body and spread the word not to believe everything you hear!
Caffeine is a big one. I like milk tea and hot green tea but it taps out at about 60mg for a large serving. Some of my preferred smokier teas like hojicha and genmaicha have less than 30mg
But people out there drinking energy drinks and preworkout like crazy. Sure, a lot are thinner and more in "shape" visually than I am, but doing 300-600mg of caffeine per day PLUS the vaccines, I cannot even imagine the damage to their hearts and arteries
Those real sugar sodas are amazing though, and it is interesting how a small cup can really satisfy you or even help your digestion whereas people down massive amounts of the fake stuff. Even ginger ale and beer (which is great for sickness) is hard to find without HFCS (I hate corn syrup)
The Negative Impact of Sugar on the Brain (verywellmind.com) https://www.verywellmind.com/how-sugar-affects-the-brain-4065218
I am sorry but I disagree with some of your assertions...I believe sugar consumption has been a tool to destroy the people of the US. Dr. Berg states in the following video that a skinny person has over 100,000 calories of stored fat and 1700 calories of stored sugar. On a survival mode the body is meant to burn fat to the advantage of the human body. Of course this does not mean that the body does not need the fuel from natural sugars - only that the excess consumption of empty calorie white sugar is destroying the health of the American people. We are one of the few countries in the world where excessively obese people flourish. Diabetes is deadly.

I can stand this one.
What do you mean? It must be past my bedtime...haha...
Night night. I said I love your knowledge.
Okey dokey...yeah...I gave up sugar...nothing but good results...soda is THE WORST...I will try to learn to speak and understand English...tomorrow...I actually like coconut sugar to bake...
Coconut sugar is rich in healthy fats, mostly medium chain fatty acids (MCFAs). They are also often referred to as medium chain triglycerides (MCTs). These fatty acids are well-known to decrease the risk for heart diseases and control blood cholesterol levels.
Yes. Soda definitely is the worse. Used to eat like 3 or 4 almond croissants from StarBucks when they were still around. So glad they discontinued but still crave them sometimes.
Yummy...don't bring THAT in the house or it would disappear...I said I gave up sugar...didn't say I can't still enjoy sweets occasionally....actually for my birthday this year my son bought me a 3# bag of saltwater taffy and my friend that passed away bought me a BIG bag of lifesavers because when I took her to the heart doctor I picked out all the cherry lifesavers...yikes...that will all last a while...I made a wonderful cheesecake with stevia that was quite good once or twice...
I quit soda altogether almost 4 years ago. I don't regret it.
I am so glad. I found out that after 4 of them, there's a very bitter after taste so I quit a while back.
Yeah, after I had started not having them for awhile, I had a drink of one.. Blech! Arg! How could I have been drinking that stuff?! That was the last one for me.
It was actually the Pepsi Real Sugar soda that finally got me to quit. I was thinking.. Real sugar.. so what's in them now?! That and caffeine. I don't drink coffee, so I would get my "hit" from Mt Dew. Totally not good.
Now I get my caffeine once a month from Midol. Lol
Midol? LOL.
What I used to do in college was coffee with a bunch of chocolate.
Crimes against humanity. Guilty.
Definitely.
No shit.
No shit whatsoever. White sugar is bad. Use honey instead if you need to.
I've already replaced sugar with honey for years now. I use it in my coffee or tea.
Great.
People, this one is important if you have a sweet tooth and maybe high A1C.
