Sounds to me like they are trying to get both sides riled up.
The NM thing: governors executive orders don't apply to the general public. If they are actually trying to enforce EOs on citizens that's an overstep, but technically the EO is not unconstitutional since its authority only applies to government positions.
It is the media that is turning this into a political battle on both sides.
Exactly. The Governor doesn't rule over the people; but rather the people rule over themselves via their elected legislators.
Another point, city ordinances don't apply to the general public, but rather to city lands, property, and people licensed by the city. To say otherwise would mean they are laws and the city is usurping the authority of the legislature.
The real David Hogg must be in Gitmo because there is no way in hell that little puke would go against the left taking the guns under any pretense.
Michelle Lujan Grisham has been a Soros plant from the start. NM is my home state and it has always been a crooked shithole.
Ted Lieu and David Hogg spewing the same talking points
They’re not going against the left’s agenda.
They’re doing damage control for the left, because they realize there’s too much blowback from the NM governor’s position
Sounds to me like they are trying to get both sides riled up.
