Buildings, bridges, street lamps and even curb-stones could be turned into cheap batteries with the discovery of new cement mixtures.
The figured it out recently. It’s got to do with the particle size of the lime in the mixture. Those particles are bigger than in today’s concrete, allowing lime to dissolve with water and flow through micro cracks in the concrete, effectively healing itself when rain enters those cracks.

So they can claim 9/11 was an accident.
I wonder if rebar would burn out concrete when exposed to Lahaina type energy???
Oh, I hope not. I live in a reinforced concrete house. But I suspect that the answer is "no" because short wavelength radiation can't penetrate solid material.
That said, something turned the WTC buildings into dust.
Well they can't just get away with burning every city down... gotta have a reason to bulldoze the concrete. I'm surprised it's not "bad for the environment" somehow.
Creating new cement is very energy intensive by the way.

So could they use the buildings to charge all the electric vehicles the government is demanding we own by a certain date? We will need to back up the grid system somehow if we go all electric all the time-stupid idea if there ever was one, my thought.
