My normie friends say corrupt "big money" paid for the mistake.
I said this to one of my friends:
Yea, that mistake the prosecution made was suspicious, but more suspicious was the way Paxton got impeached without actual evidence of committing a crime.

Murr's argument is based on the premise that there was no FBI malfeasance.... making fun of Paxton for being "outside of reality."
What if the FBI did really alter documents? If they did, then Paxton had a right to order for outside investigations. Getting to the truth was his motive, which is not illegal.
Besides, it would not be surprising if the FBI doctored documents. They have been proven to do it before.
To oust Trump, they doctored email evidence and lied on FISA applications to get the Russiagate scheme going.
And how about the way the FBI buried the investivation into those 8,000-10,000 false voter registrations? There was a police record of those, and a raid discovered partially-filled out registrations, pre-paid cards to pay people for voter crimes, burner phones, etc. It was turned over to the FBI and Bill Barr. They buried it.
How about the 51 intelligence officers who lied (signing their names) about Hunter's laptop being genuinely his laptop. They signed this document right before the 2020 election, so they participated in election fraud, too.
The FBI not only buries investigations they are told to bury, they also frame people.
So, Paxton did nothing illegal to go around them (hiring outside investigators), when he fully believed there was FBI malfeasance.
I haven't watched the trial. So, if you heard of any actual laws Paxton broke, please do send me a link. I think crooks should get removed and prosecuted.
Look for a sec, though with an open mind... Paxton fights against the cabal establishment.
Top notch comment! 👏 u/Bonnieric
Consider the end result of the drama. They prevented Paxton from investigating any Fed wrong-doing. They never found out if the search warrant was altered.
Goal achieved initially, next, to prevent any further investigation, they need to get rid of Paxton.
Excellent comment. 👍
