"Well we've had a lot less moisture than this summer than last year, and the ears are a little bit shorter, and I think harvest is going to start two or three weeks ahead of normal."
Did he release this statement today or is it a few months old?
Corn is a big deal in Iowa, he tweets about it every year around harvest. I think at this point it is safe to say the corn comms are simply about the corn harvest. IMO.
Agree but post 3525
Is a a nod towards Corn Comms.

Pushing the DS every year to make more blunders. I suspect the actual harvest might be next year (hoping that's the worst case), but it could be 2025. If it happened this year, that would be great - except everything is getting dragged out. There's a lot of deep sleepers enjoying their slumbers, and I bet we've not seen the full extent of the DS crimes.
2 weeks!!
I like the 2 weeks ahead of schedule, or three. I know, I know, we have been disappointed plenty of times. No date stating. Have to learn this lesson.
Wasn’t he doing these the past few years? What do most people who decide stuff read corn comms as?

Yeah but the harvest for corn was in July
Not quite. WHEN IS CORN HARVESTED? In Iowa, some farmers begin harvesting corn by mid-September, though most of the harvest is takes place in October. https://www.iowacorn.org/education/faqs
