It was around Halloween, 2 to 3 years ago, They had a commercial with a boy who is dressed up like a princess. Then he and his babysitter, who is a witch, go to the park and the witch (it’s implied) destroys the other boy who asks about why he is wearing a girl’s costume.
caught my attention bc I hadn't heard them do a stoopid. Plus, thats a fav candy bar for me and my son. I had to look them up and read they're owned by Ferrara/Ferrero. No Nestle affiliation that I can tell (may they were once upon a time?). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butterfinger
Oh man, my young son is gonna be devastated if we lose our father-son bonding moments over a butterfinger bar.
I must be wrong then. For some reason Butterfinger clicked with Nestle. They're all either Hershey, Mars or Nestle to me.
Have you ever seen how many Brands Nestle carries? Huge
Love them Butterfingers!
Yea, Nestle is in to EVERYTHING. Thanks for the link. And yes, Hershey, Mars and Nestle seem to own the cavity creation space. Didn't Hershey do something stoopid too? Mars brand the only one who hasn't F'd up?
Damn, with Halloween coming up, I don't know what to give away!
Learn to make your own candy! I think Butterfingers are based on a candy type called honeycomb. Lots of recipes on the internet for chocolate covered honeycomb candy. Plus, if your son is young, candy making can teach some scientific principles.
Butterfingers?? Had no idea they sh!t the bed too. What did they do?
