I don’t think so. I’m an atheist and I’m catching this person’s drift.
It is my understanding that some people “worship” Satan in order to make fun of Christianity. (and perhaps other religions, though they don’t actually believe in Satan) This is the type of Satanist this person is referring to at the beginning of the second paragraph. Like the poster, to me, it just doesn’t make sense to an atheist. We’re not anti-theist. We don’t “reject” a higher being. It is a complete waste of our time.
Do you think that all Pedes are Christian? It seems to me that many of us are atheists.
I think it is awesome that a liberal is starting to question things. Perhaps they are starting to wake up. Isn’t that what we want?
Now, this is going to sound really weird coming from me as an atheist, but perhaps you need to look at the Bible again. I think the Bible is quite wonderful, though VERY misunderstood.
What also caught my eye was you talking about standing in a river. I wish I could find that Bible verse again. It has something to do with standing at a river with upstretched arms. It stuck me that the Bible verse was about the constellations of Orion (the hunter, a man) and Eridanus (a river).

Q is worldwide. It makes sense there would be atheist, buddhiat, hindu, etv anons
It is why I am a devoted Christian but have NO interest in a theocracy like some do.
Creation declares his handiwork.
Amen!!!
If no one did the rocks will cry His name
It’s sad that you think that. You should read the book “I don’t have enough faith to be an atheist”. It’ll be a game changer for you.
