It may be called a deal, but it will be no deal.
No matter how it is done, the evidence doesn't go away.
Impeachment only hurts MAGA and GOP.
It would validate he was elected (which he wasnt) and the Dems will use it to attack because GOP = meaners.
They will play tit for tat, they think they should be allowed to get rid of trump because we got rid of biden.
The 25th makes the Dems look worse for:
taking out one of their own, hurts what's left of their base for a betrayal.
GOP and MAGA stays roses, we made the Dems see sense. And they look like idiots for supporting a vegetable all this time.
3 The entire crime family can still be charged.
Gives less legitimacy to the residence time in the White House. Becomes more about getting a senile old coot out of there, then removing a bad President.
I don't say I'm right, of course, but I think this makes more sense.

I still vehemently disagree with this angle. It is (literally) a foregone conclusion. It does not matter whether he was elected or selected, he has stolen the office successfully and enacted quite literally terror on the populace.
Impeaching him doesn't do much, which is why I still don't believe this is the play. I would fully believe they intend to mirror the bullshit with Trump so Biden can say "SEE? THEY TRIED TO IMPEACH ME BUT I'M CLEAN! THE CLEANEST PRESIDENT EVER!" and use that to demoralize our base further.
Note that this is lining up very well with election season. It could easily go either direction, but since Biden is unable to have any original thought (Make America Great Again vs Build Back Better, etc.) I absolutely believe they are trying to pull the same thing, and Republican sleepers are aiding it.
I don't go along with the argument against impeachment. We have no patent on the future, so we must take steps according to what we have.
If the election fraud was exposed, that will void Biden's presidency under the principle that fraud vitiates everything. Plus, he will be subject to prosecution for the associated crimes, without any protection as a former president.
The Democrats are willful beings, not robots. We don't control what they do, especially do we not control them by failing to act. (We encourage them, in fact.)
I agree that there are down sides for the Democrats so conspicuously devouring their own, but they thrive on thinking and saying two contrary things at once, so I don't expect they would care---nor would their supporters.
