I’m not going to summarize this as each of you NEED To Hear This! Believe Anons, we were Chosen for a Greater Purpose! God bless you all.
I bet a lot of this board are INTJ or INT at least.
Approximately 1% to 4% of the population has an INTJ personality type.
INFJ
yes^ & hope more of our frens take the test/bet there's a lot of us here.
and think this is a good summary/about being conscientious...reminds me how Q says to 'be the autists'...we don't give in.
"Advocates (INFJs) may be the rarest personality type of all, but they certainly leave their mark on the world. Idealistic and principled, they aren’t content to coast through life – they want to stand up and make a difference. For Advocate personalities, success doesn’t come from money or status but from seeking fulfillment, helping others, and being a force for good in the world.
While they have lofty goals and ambitions, Advocates shouldn’t be mistaken for idle dreamers. People with this personality type care about integrity, and they’re rarely satisfied until they’ve done what they know to be right. Conscientious to the core, they move through life with a clear sense of their values, and they aim never to lose sight of what truly matters – not according to other people or society at large, but according to their own wisdom and intuition."
All I can say is thank you to all who have introduced me to this. I’ve never read or known about any of these personality traits. I’ve got some reading to do. At first blush I think I’m INFJ….or INTP. more reading required
Some possible explanations for the relative rarity of INFJs may be due to the fact that we're just not in situations where the test is offered, or maybe we don't want to take the test, says Dr. Carla Stebbins, a New-York based certified MBTI practitioner who works in higher education.
I vote for the latter of the two explanations.
LOL I AM! I'm a INTJ.
I'm a FJB.
Good point. I wonder what I am in this part of my life. Twenty years ago I was ESTJ.
The same. As we age/get more mature, we learn how to use the other letters, but our core self doesn't really change. As an example, as an INTJ, when I'm playing and having fun with friends I appear to be an INTP. When I'm leading a group or running a project, I appear to be an ENTJ. When I'm doing financial and spreadsheet stuff, I look like an ISTJ. When I'm having a heart-to-heart talk with someone, I look like an INFJ. So along the way, I learned how to use all the letters, but am still an INTJ at my core.
Thank you. Very interesting.
