My question now is, what chess move did the DS play to vote yes to remove McCarthy and not bail him out? Or did the white hats control the dems to vote yes?

I think the democrats just wanted to screw Kevin McCarthy. They got what they wanted with the Ukraine side deal last month so they don't need him anymore.
