The thread is about whether or not Matt Gaetz should have "gone against the 'team'" by ousting McCarthy.
Why did he want to oust McCarthy in the first place? Because McCarthy is a proven liar and backstabber.
My question to you was and is: Do you support that behavior from a member of the "team" (McCarthy)?
Gaetz did not lie, like McCarthy did.
Gaetz did not say to his own caucus he would or wouldn't do something, and then turn around and do the opposite, like McCarthy did.
I asked you if you support these dishonorable actions of McCarthy.
But you have purposely evaded answering this directly -- three times now -- so I can assume you DO in fact support such lying and backstabbing, from someone who claims to be on your "team."
You seem to be perfectly fine with a man lying directly to your face, and then doing nothing at all about it.
^ Let me add, so this discussion doesn't go on forever:
(1) IMO, Nunes started the debate at the wrong place. He started with Gaetz' action. But Gaetz only took his action due to what McCarthy did. The real debate should start with McCarthy.
(2) If the QB keeps intentionally throwing interceptions, then at some point you have to replace him. He is hurting the team, not helping. McCarthy made promises that he never intended to keep, but he made them. When he did not keep them, and was warned repeatedly, but smugly ignored the warnings. So, what is the solution? Let him keep doing more harm? More money to Ukraine, even though he said he wouldn't? More business as usual, even though he said he wouldn't?
(3) It is unfortunate that Gaetz had to get Dems to join in to oust McCarthy. Where the hell were the Reps? Only 8 Reps had the balls to do the right thing. Those gutless R's are the ones who are responsible for Gaetz getting the Dems in on it. And sure, the D's want to cause trouble. That's what they do. They have no principles or integrity. Then again, MOST of the R's, don't either.
This is not "Team R" vs. "Team D."
This is "Team Patriot" vs. "Team Establishment."
Team Patriot (MAGA) if finally winning one, for a change.
Nunes has been great on some things. He is wrong about this one.
Who says I am fine with people lying to me? I hated AOC and Demonic Rats for lying to my face and a host of other crimes (if my response above is not big enough hint to you). My wrath extends to Republicans that does the same, including McCarthy.
McCarthy is gone and I should be happy. However, the fact that Geatz has to enlist and consort with Demonic Rats to make it happen does raise questions on if he sold his soul to get their cooperation, especially the only time they rush to do something is when they are going to commit great evil. I would be lying to myself if this fact does not bother me and it kills me that everyone is worshipping the ground he steps on when we should keep an eye on him and his cohorts for future betrayal.
The fact that you assume that I am part of the enemy for going against the grain is very unbecoming for a member of a board that emphasis research and not following along with the heard. But then again, getting shouted at is part of being a devil's advocate.
And you missed my point by changing the subject with your first question. I think that makes us even.
No.
I asked you a straight up question, and you evaded answering (twice, now).
That is dishonorable.
And you continue to try to change the subject. Which is dishonest to me.

Tells me all I need to know.
