It still shocks me that u/purkiss80, who is on the other side of the planet, has a better understanding than all of my friends, neighbors and relatives of what is really going on in the USA and world!
I applaud you and your efforts and pray that your country will one day soon benefit from what is happening in America.
I've always believed we won our independence but part of that was agreeing to pay tribute, or the pizzo, to the crown indefinitely.
That's when our great leaders decided that since we couldn't possibly keep paying up, they're just going to steal from the citizens.
Then they saw what every greedy man sees-the potential for money and power. So they created even more revenue streams and began funneling it to themselves.
This just continued to spiral outwardly, as they picked up more vices, and the crown pushed down harder ...they had to continue to find sources.
Much like an addict, they've been lashing aimlessly about for 100 years trying to cover up what they've done by adding even more insane "taxes", and utilizing the biggest power move of them all, war. And they hide it all behind agencies that do nothing aside from strong arming the citizenry... strangling them with red tape.
Add into this all of the things they've done, what their proclivities are and who they're in bed with, and you have the makings of what amounts to an evil ponzi scheme with blackmailed individuals, where everyone has their hand in the cookie jar except for the people who work to make the cookies
