Judge Engoron’s order erroneously sought to adjudicate the rights of non-party business entities that employ nearly 1,000 hard-working New Yorkers, have never been accused of any wrongdoing and, were never given their day in court – in clear violation of their fundamental Constitutional rights and Due Process. We will continue to vigorously defend our company and our incredible employees from this politically-motivated persecution. – The Trump Organization

This comes after Judge Arthur Engoron ruled that Donald Trump and his co-defendants committed fraud, and must cancel business certificates for many Trump entities last week.
While Justice Peter Moulton paused the cancelation of the business certificates while the court considered the issue, he did not delay the civil trial which is set to start next week
Moulton’s pause will stay in effect until a full panel of appeals court judges can consider the case and whether or not Engoron’s ruling will be allowed to stand.
Attorney General Letitia James is not only seeking the cancelation of Trump’s business certificates but has also asked the court to impose a $250 million fine and impose penalties as to bar Trump and his sons from running any New York businesses for the next five years, as well as block Trump from commercial real estate acquisition in that time period.
This is a blow to James and Engoron, and comes while many Trump haters had been basking in the now-delayed ruling. Things as they stand are much up in the air and will continue on as the other affected case is set to take place in December.

Well I mean it was obviously going to happen on appeal because you can't give a judgment without a trial first. It doesn't work like that. I mean a judge is not a feudal lord they can't just automatically decide a person is fucking guilty without hearing the case and then issue a judgment to take away all their stuff. I mean it just doesn't work like that. I mean I know in our current culture people seem to think that an accusation is as good as a conviction but it's not proof of a crime. I mean I can accuse a ham sandwich of committing murder but that doesn't mean that that ham sandwich went out and shot someone. I mean they were all these lawyers on YouTube trying to get clicks with all these sensational titles about how oh we got him now we got that son of a bitch we got a judge to do exactly what we want and convict him of a crime without even hearing the case first and violating his due process rights, but I already knew he was going to go straight to an appellate court and it was going to get overturned like instantly. You guys on this site really need to stop getting riled up by all these clickbaity titles and wait for cooler heads to prevail because at this point you guys are turning into The same fascists that you hate. You can't fight fascism with fascism.
The judge needs to be removed and barred from ever being a judge again anywhere.
I prefer the the Judgement of the Persian's on how to handle a corrupt, bias judge. The judge is skinned alive and his skin is then made into a chair for the next judge to sit in. Healthy reminder to the sitting judge.

If this had been any other than Trump Org. with their resources to fight this a smaller business and employees could easily be ruined by such pernicious behaviour. Surely time for the SC to step in on all this nonsense.
