SICK pic fren
Not me, TBH. But I've got all that shit. And a better bow. Thank you Mathews!
Get a bow and learn how to shoot it VFD. They'll never hear a peep
I have been wanting to but never came around to pull the trigger, but you may of just pulled it for me. Cabella's here I come, thanks DCS!
Make sure you do some research, and find someone who can really fit you and show you the basics. You won't put it down! Archery is so much fun fren.
Funny you say that, a freind of mine has been trying to get me into archery and go on a little elk hunt with him, texted him after our exchange and meeting up this weekend so he can teach me. Looking forward to it! Cheers!
That it is.
And much cheaper than another hobby some may enjoy.
And archery hunting trains you to stalk. You'll learn to get within 50 yds (or less) of an animal that can smell you from 400yd. It's a great survival skill. No one hears an arrow. You won't draw attention to yourself.
Came here to say that. No gun powder = no big noise to alert others of your location.
Just want to brag for a moment that my middle boy won the 1st place trophy in his school archery class. Certainly starting them young practicing in the backyard helped with that.
The Ultimate FAFO!
You got a recommendation? Traditional bow, compound bow, or the kind that shoots like a rifle?
I've never shot a crossbow (I believe that's what you mean by LIKE A RIFLE) and a compound is much more accurate than a trad bow. I love my compound. 99% of hunters use compound for a reason. I do want a crossbow though. Bows are great survival weapons, especially if SHTF. If you are remote and you don't want to draw attention, a bow is the way to go.
if you're serious, find a pro locally who can fit you and show you the ropes. It a lot of fun!
I live about 50 miles from Bass Pro Shops in Springfield Mo. Would they have the technical knowledge to assist me?
