Keeping an eye on the Pacific "Ring of Fire" right now, earthquakes and volcanoes are going off all around the Pacific, from China and Japan, to South America, to North America. Also earthquakes in north Africa and Turkey. The African tectonic plate is moving, and the New Madrid Fault, which had its last major rumble in 1811, is also waking up.
We live in interesting times.
Indeed prophetic times!
Yes; I've been noticing that for .......idk....at least a few years, maybe a decade or so.
You have to remember of course that global plate tectonics & such take place over BILLIONS of years, so while a dozen volcanoes erupting or earthquakes / tsunamis over the course of 10-20 years might not seem like much from the perspective of an individual human; when viewed over the course of billions of years; it is a positively terrifyingly rapid pace....
The ring of fire has been INCREDIBLY active the past 10-20+ years, or at least it sure as hell seems so to me....seems every few years we're hearing of a volcano; the major japanese & indonesian tsunamis, (Fukushima) etc!
I'm mainly watching the ones in China right now, particularly those that occur near the Three Gorges Dam. If that dam collapses, millions of people could be killed.
Note too the recent quake in Morocco and the odd flood in Libya. Things are going on in north Africa as well as Turkey and Afghanistan.
Interesting..... crazy times indeed....
shutting down nitrogen fertilizer will pretty much cause that famine. It seems like Marxism is false teachings. Q did say up is down, down is up.
Let's let the Lord do His thing on his clock. Not ours.
Critical thinking
Jesus Christ was talking about an administration change that took place in his generation.

You are so wrong!
I am not saying I agree with him entirely, but when it comes to the olivet discourse in Matthew 24, I can only conclude that Jesus was speaking about the events of the fall of Jerusalem and the destruction of the temple in 70 AD. Matthew 24:34 makes it pretty clear he isn't talking about any time future to us:
Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.
Wrong§
Would you be willing to state your case? I am certainly open to different ways of thinking about this. But I just don't see any way of applying anything in Matthew 24 to a prophesy that is future to us when verse 34 says that everything he just said would happen within the lifetime of those who were listening to him speak. And moreover, everything Jesus prophesied would occur did in fact occur in 70 AD.
Yup
Read a history book.
Yup.
Been that way for the whole of human history. It’s good advice because it has always been the case but it can hardly be called a prophecy in need of fulfillment anymore.
