Must likely the stage direction is "Lucy cries." Believe it or not, but there is a scene in \season 2 where Ricky spanks Lucy. Basically she acts like a child and uses his money to install a ton of playground toys in the apartment's living room and with the slide in front of the door. Thankfully, "I Love Lucy" is classified as a musical comedy responsible for such scenes as Lucy and Ethel's battle with a candy conveyor belt, Lucy in a grape vat, and the commercial where Lucy becomes drunk.
