Must likely the stage direction is "Lucy cries." Believe it or not, but there is a scene in \season 2 where Ricky spanks Lucy. Basically she acts like a child and uses his money to install a ton of playground toys in the apartment's living room and with the slide in front of the door. Nowadays, the husband would file for divorce if the wife acted like that.
Thankfully, "I Love Lucy" is classified as a musical comedy responsible for such scenes as Lucy and Ethel's battle with a candy conveyor belt, Lucy in a grape vat, and the commercial where Lucy becomes drunk. Note that the musical part is due to Ricky's nightclub life and Lucy's efforts to get into his act.
I've seen better crying from Lucille Ball on "I Love Lucy."
I’ve seen better on (Saved by the Bell.)
I've seen better crying from Leonard Nimoy on "Star Trek".
Nice
I've seen better crying from my girlfriend when she messes up dinner.....
That scene alway reminds me of Joe on our honeymoon. ___ Dr. Jill
Wow...
But he actually WAS awesome at it when he did have to cry.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaa. Wonder if that's how it's spelled on the script
