Children love being read to. Read a book. BUT dress the part. If it’s about bunnies…wear bunny ears, nose and whiskers. Have stuffed bunnies all over. Decorate your set.
Painter’s cloths at Lowes or HD are cheap. Paint a colorful background to put behind you. Have the letter “B” for bunny on it somewhere. Or include all the alphabet in one color except the letter you are highlighting…that letter “B” is larger and in a different bright color.
If you have the funds, paint a new one for each book. Also make the time/length of your videos consistent (1/2 hour, 45 mins, whatever) if you can. That gives parents a specific window to get things done while munchkin is occupied.
Read 'em the Bible, USA's founding documents, and Q drops. Maybe show 'em how to field strip a rifle and put it back together.
Aww, I just said that for comic relief. Or did I?
Really though do you know people that may want to go into something like this with you? Someone who plays an instrument maybe, who could accompany you?
I've thought about reading the Bible lol my mother told me she has never heard anyone read it the way I do. Not exactly sure what that meant, but she was saying it in a good way
As children, my sibs and I entertained ourselves outside of the house most of the time, the way human children have done since the beginning.
Playing soccer, playing hide 'n seek, playing EVERY sport you can think of, just running for an hour with a friend and chatting, doing stupid and dangerous and fun things like trying to see who who can go over a high-jump bar the highest or climbing a tree, and so on. Sledding in the snow. Swimming and playing in someone's backyard pool. Building a fort in the snow or from boxes. Just sitting on the porch steps and talking about whatever. Building something, fixing a bike or adding a doo-dad, writing and putting on a play (can also be done indoors, of course).
Kids will entertain themselves for zero dollar cost when given the chance, and when NOT given the idea that they need expensive stuff in order for life to function as it should.
Plus, this kind of natural, self-directed play is REAL LIFE. It teaches. It develops social competence. It keeps the child fit and healthy. It stays with you for a lifetime.
Get them outside, on their own, if that's possible where you live, without any "technology" and without adult-directed activity of any kind. If you live where that wouldn't be safe, drive them out to where it is or better still, move.
Being outside, doing whatever the child is interested in, is the path to a healthy body and a strong, free, and agile mind.
Animals! My son loves watching cats, dogs, birds, lizards, all of them! Yes, he watches all his animal movies on Pureflix. Also, anything that can help us parents out with issues we need assistance with like, honesty, kindness, patience, self-control, stranger-danger, there are so many topics... The more times they see these values discussed in a healthy, positive way, the greater the chance of them being instilled. Thanks so much for thinking about the kids. They need something good, and clean that parents can trust.

Everything is visual now. Just my .02.

I’m sure others have ideas.
Great idea btw. It’s sorely needed.

My third grade teacher read the little house on the prairie books to us...we loved it
I bought the whole series of Little House on the Prairie on DVD. Also, we watch old shows like Leave it to Beaver and cartoons like Tom and Jerry.
Gotta be careful there’s A LOT of hidden/subliminal inappropriate content (Example: Disney)
Wow.
Shows from the 70s, 80s maybe?
Origami step by step?
Independent kid's music artist I think is creative, smart and fun
