I think this was comms to establish a momentary link from Mark Meadows to the FF shooter (who's a MARKsman from MEADOW Road) and the key word is wire. The shooter's name is R.R. Card II, which sends you back to many Q drops with an [RR], of which 11 also include something about a wire. Also the town of Durham was right down the street from the shootings.
So now whenever they reveal more details about the shooter or the shootings you know they're really talking about details from ongoing or upcoming FISA cases.
"I apologize for 'putting something out' without it not being 100% accurate. That's on me and I'll do better next time." - Ryan Fournier
Really? That's it? This man sent out a ghastly, libelous claim that he had not fully vetted. And now, says he'll 'do better next time'?
He should be sued for the long-reaching harm he caused.
This reminds me of someone from my past who would make spurious claims, lies and confabulations - always meant to destroy another party, and later when proven wrong would say, "Oops. My bad. Sorry." And then go about their day as if everyone should just move on and go back to normal.

You may have something there.

Aargh!
48hr rule
Credit where it's due, you don't usually see a politician admit to making a mistake...
True, but... Clearly not enough contrition for his damning claim.
Fair.
Wrong and incorrect
Should be drawn and quartered for this alone
This guy took a dump on his own reputation, and the stench should never go away. Anything he puts out henceforth is suspect.
A RHINO trusting the word of another RHINO. Yeah, that's the ticket. /s
