I fully believe that he is my Lord and Savior. But I've got some repentance that I've been having a real hard time with. Struggling so to speak.
I know I have to fully surrender. I just don't know how.
Maybe a better question is how to repent and get help from Jesus doing it? I'm sure many of us are trying, failing, and trying to figure it out particular sins that we struggle with.
I know this may be the place to ask and find someone who can give real advice on how they changed their life, maybe some scripture advice, and repented. I've prayed a lot to ask God to help me, and he HAS in ways I didn't expect. But I know he wants me to take the wheel and drive rather than him taking care of it. I just don't know how to fully surrender and accept things the way that they are.
Anyways, thanks in advance. Prayers and advice would be much appreciated.
God Bless You All.
Have you ever seen the movie Nefarious? (This is not a mythical Hollywood flick) The top exorcist in the Catholic church called it the most accurate film depiction the true way Satan operates. There are no scenes throwing up pea soup, or climbing wall or spinning round of heads and all the normal nonsense.
Found this...maybe you are interested....

Yup I saw that a while back. Pretty startling isn't it.
Did you like the movie?
I ordered a DVD so I can pass it around to my kids...it should arrive tomorrow so we will probably watch Friday night...I am looking forward to it because of your recommendation...I'll let you know what I think.
I look forward to your review.
“People need to be reminded more often than they need to be instructed.” - Samuel Johnson
The movie reminded me of how Satan operates, by getting us to agree to give into small almost insignificant temptations that when laid together lead us to a place we would never had gone in one big step. That the easiest way to not go down the wrong path, is to not start on that path in the first place.
I know my salvation is secure, but the devil can rob me of the joy of my salvation, if I let him. He can't change a light into stone, but he can put a cover over the light so that it does not shine.
I absolutely want to see this...never have...I don't watch TV or movies but this sounds like a "must see"...it sounds like a terrific date night...thank you again...
You not likely to see it in theater now, but here. Grab some popcorn.

I am sorry...I went to prayer group at 5:45 so I just now saw your comment...just got home. I went to download it and it is gone. Can you DM me the link if for some reason you took it off...if not I will try to find it elsewhere...thanks for the suggestion...
I laugh because I had an abscessed tooth this week and now have a temporary bridge on so I don't think popcorn is an acceptable food right now...although it is one of MY FAVORITE foods of ALL TIME...and that predates Q by at least 60 years...but I will watch this...thank you...
You know the best time to make a dentist appointment?

Please if you will, download load this right away and let me know when complete so I can remove the share link.

I've watched that one too. You and I think alike. Seem to be taking same path of interest to find out more about movie.
I will tell you that the most startling finds for me in our comms around this topic is to learn that you, and evidently your entire family, still have DVD players lol.
You are funny...our cars are 2005 and our refrigerator is 34 year old and runs fine...although it is not very smart...why replace it if it still works? We probably have DVD players because we don't throw things away...you never know when you might need them...you made me realize some of the kids may not have a DVD player...I guess I am just "OLD" school...I personally am not super technological and am somewhat uncomfortable with too much change...generally it sucks getting old...have you noticed? And yeah I do like to explore a topic and learn everything I can about it...that seems very enjoyable...gaining knowledge is such a cheap, satisfying endeavor...
