Lol, zombie ants. Lets hope it doesn't decide to do the same to humans. A real life zombie apocalypse
I am sure they are working on it.
There is a very popular video game about a cordyceps sort of fungi that takes over humans, called "The Last of Us". Here's hoping that video game is not the Satanists telegraphing to us what's next.
Fungi are a whole different issue. Treatments for fungi infections are completely different than these other bacteria and single celled organisms.
Yep. And if there were a fungi that could infect humans like in the game, I think the human race would basically go extinct (barring some subset of the human race that would have natural immunity, if we got lucky). The way spores work... you won't see them, they are everywhere, and you will inhale them. Very scary.
And my wife still wonders why I don’t like mushrooms.
One of my all time favorite games.
Have you all seen the zombie drug addicts in metro ghetto’s? This is absolutely the saddest thing I’ve ever seen, next to the pictures of the kids in cages & the starving dogs in the mostly lying ASPCA commercials. I believe the starving animals are real but the $$$ donated go directly into bigwig pockets, not the animals.
These poor souls in this video need our prayers. Dear God, please help them. Amen.

Yes, I have seen it. It is the result of a relatively new drug. The issue is that these people willingly seek it out and take it. It is mind boggling why anyone would do this to themselves. The street name is Tranq. It is a veterinary tranquilizer mixed with Fentanyl.
It’s the saddest thing I’ve ever seen! I’ve seen a lot in 40 yrs of nursing but this tops it all!
Thank you for dedicating 40 years of your life to helping and caring for others. My grandmother was a nurse, my aunt was a nurse and my father went to nursing school. His first foray into nursing was in a hospice. He didn't last a year. He quit being a nurse because it was too hard emotionally. He wasn't able to watch people die without it affecting him. That is a testament to all those that can persevere and do the job anyway, even with the emotional cost. I know the coping mechanisms that they had to adopt in order to keep doing the job. Thank you.
P.S. There are different "strains" of cordyceps that go after different insects. Looks like you went and found something on what it'll do with ants, so that's done. Now go and see the strain that attacks grasshoppers, that commandeers them and makes them crawl up to the tops of the tall grass, ensuring that birds will eat them, which then continues the cycle.
I also have a level of trust on "our betters" who run this planet that is so low, I assume that if there were a sort of cordyceps that attacks mammals, we might not be told about that. And, that if there weren't a version of cordyceps that attacks mammals/humans, these demons would make one.
I am sure it one could be made, they would engineer it.
