So... hmmm. Looking back over my own experience during that time, I know I alienated several people (so-called 'friends') for my refusal to get jabbed. I took it in stride, and have never been one to bend to peer pressure. That may be why I have so few 'peers' around me, I simply march to a different drummer.
The odd thing is, now they seem to be coming back around and being friendly again. But they don't seem to realize that I never did need their friendship and still don't to this day. I forgive them, in my heart, but will forever know what abject fools and toadies they are.
As to the larger forces... the media, government at all levels, big pharma and bid medicine ... nope, I will never forgive what they have done to the citizens of this country. Blood is on their hands, their credentials are forever tainted, and their dancing TicTok videos will haunt them forever.
I hope they enjoy the 30 pieces of silver they got for their betrayal to the people, for a Great Reckoning is coming and no amount of money will assuage their guilt.
I was yelled at by a neighbor for not wearing a mask outside.
most of my neighbors are diehard libtards that had ESCAPED FROM NYC.
The suburbs are soon to be voted into the same shit hole, almost there, 20 years give or take.
To your point about "friends"- I find that most of them rely on the old herd mentality to control each other, using emotion and fear of being "cast out" as their weapons. Those with logic and reason in their character never fall for such primitive mentalities, and thus have fewer "peers" than the rest of the insects that pollute the planet. The one move that the true individual can make that renders him invincible is to remove ego from everything that he does. It's not possible to remove it completely; we are human, after all; but it can be done to the extent that one has almost complete control over his life, with logic and reason as his guides.
Spock (Star Trek) had the right idea.
That is an excellent point, and observation. Yes, over my several years of life I have tried, to the extent of my abilities, to be very objective about decisions rather than relying on emotions or the agenda of the herd. I know that I hold some opinions that were founded, not in objectivity but in early experiences, and these opinions might not be very popular in today's world. But as you said, we're all human.
However, overall I do try to be as objective about things as I can. And a part of that objectivity is that I constantly see the absurdities around me, the fake news, the herd mentality. I guess I just don't have a need to be popular... I'd rather be known as thoughtful and (in the end) right.
pride comes before the fall
Well I never gained or lost friends over the clot shot...it was never an issue between friends or relatives...we stated our piece then respected the decisions made. Yes...a few paid the ultimate price...sadly...but I actually was able to influence some relatives not to continue with shots/boosters. I tried to remain a faithful friend while my best friend and her husband slowly died after the J&J and I would do that all over again in a heartbeat...but I understand that others have had different experiences. I think so many people are brainwashed (physically and mentally induced) to a point they really can't think straight or logically...it is all very sad...
I will play Guitar and Harmonica, as we sing the same Tune. Banjo Man.
Well, I also play guitar, mandolin, hammer dulcimer, autoharp, and harmonica, so, game on!
Perfectly said OP 👊🏻
