It is Not enough that she resigned. It is ought to be just the beginning of her legal woes. This cannot be ended here. The harm she caused so many Missourians are crimes against humanity. She needs to be tried for her many crimes she committed and deserves a lifetime behind bars.
Kim Gardner, the Soros-backed DA, was at the heart of the controversial story involving the McCloskeys, who stood their ground against a mob of violent and threatening BLM rioters at their home. Instead of addressing the mob, which threatened harm to them and their pets, Gardner targeted the McCloskeys for brandishing firearms in self-defense. This action is indicative of her approach as a Marxist Soros-backed DA, prioritizing political targets over actual criminals.
Gardner’s erratic and unjust actions created a stir and captured public attention. Consequently, a special counsel was appointed in May to investigate the chaotic disaster Gardner created and perpetuated within the DA’s office.
Ultimately, these actions triggered a movement to oust Gardner from office. However, before this could fully unfold, Gardner hit the ‘eject button’ and resigned. Now, a revealing new report sheds light on exactly why Gardner fled as the situation tightened around her.
Attorney General Andrew Bailey, who spearheaded the effort against Ms. Gardner, is also credited with unveiling this bombshell report.
We have to be better; we're all guilty sinners. We get measured by the same measure that we mete out against others.
Let's instead turn to the Lord for Salvation and Pardon for our many sins.
Consider John 8:4 ~ 8:11, wherein the Pharisees sought to entrap Jesus by bringing to him an adulterer. Under Levitical law, she would be put to death, but under Roman law (Israel was a conquered nation at this time.) Stoning someone for such a thing was considered the criminal act, not the adultery. They sought to place Jesus in a place where the could accuse and betray him to the Roman authorities, or call for his death as a "false" teacher unto the Jewish leadership. Lord Jesus, or Yeshua, Yehoshua, our Messiah, the Great I AM, however shows mercy, love, and patience.
He is our exemplar.
4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. 5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? 6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. 9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? 11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
First of all, let’s define imprecatory prayer. To imprecate means “to invoke evil upon or curse” one’s enemies. King David, the psalmist most associated with imprecatory verses such as Psalm 55:15, 69:28, and 109:8, often used phrases like, “may their path be dark and slippery, with the angel of the LORD pursuing them” (Psalm 35:6) and “O God, break the teeth in their mouths; tear out the fangs of the young lions, O LORD!” (Psalm 58:6).
Psalms 7, 35, 55, 58, 59, 69, 109, and 139 were written by David to ask God to bring judgment upon his enemies. (The other two imprecatory psalms, 79 and 137, were written by Asaph and an unknown psalmist.) These prayers were written not so much to exact revenge upon one’s enemies, but rather to emphasize God’s abhorrence of evil, His sovereignty over all mankind, and His divine protection of His chosen people. Many of these prayers were prophetic and could be seen taking place later in the New Testament in actual historical events.
When David prayed for God to shatter the teeth of his enemies, likening them to young lions pursuing him to his death, he was making the point that God is holy, righteous, and just, and He will ultimately judge the wicked for the evil they do. Jesus quoted some of the imprecatory psalms during His earthly ministry. In John 15:25, Jesus quotes Psalm 35:19 and 69:4. Paul also quoted an imprecatory prayer in Romans 11:9–10, which is a quote of Psalm 69:22–23. Since Jesus and Paul quoted verses from these imprecatory psalms, it proves those psalms were inspired by God and counters any allegation that they were sinful or selfish prayers of revenge.
Very beautifully said and explained. I'd always wondered about things like that in the Bible.
I don't know if I would be upright in saying this, but I always considered it different to pray for the failure of evil, or forgiveness of a group vs the individual.
Maybe you can help me here.
I try to avoid judging individuals, even though I fail from time to time, but instead make judgements about about the sin itself, or the action of groups that is sinful, but again avoiding condemning individuals. Condemning the sin, but not the sinner.
In your estimate, do you think this thinking is upright? I try to use discernment, it's hard to avoid censorious, heady thinking. I fail from time to time, but try.
Like you, I struggle with the same issues. It’s hard to pray for my (our) enemies. We are to judge fruit tho. Behavior/actions.
I am very cautious with imprecatory prayers for the very reasons you listed. And yes, imo, are mostly reserved for the evil behind the individual or group behavior. Spiritual warfare.
Yet King David prayed imprecatory prayers against his (human) enemies… and a man “after God’s own heart.”
So, I guess it’s between you and God. Sorry, not much help. 🙃

So you couldn't just give a quick summary or something instead of basically augmented clickbait?
What's the TL;DR?
Revolver.news is a mandatory daily read for me.
Thanks for the summary :)
Good riddance to bad rubbish.
You are so civil.
I’d say fuck this bitch to hell

That's okay; I appreciate the context, as well as the education. Iron sharpens Iron. I appreciate the edification!
