I used to fire tow and javelins and had the ability to choose between black hot and white hot when acquiring targets and locking on. This type of concert goes into nights - people were camping to be there. Why they had the concert so close to the 'wall' is beyond me. Perhaps it was meant to enrage the Palestinians a little more, as in: See, we are enjoying ourselves over here in Israel - on land that your ancestors farmed. HAHA.
OK. So to get this straight: The 'attack' was during the day, and the strafing happened at night. Which may actually point a finger at the IDF, as there is evidence that HAMAS members returned to their bases - they had no intention of staying out there - which is typical of a military raid.
But why were the concert goers not frightened away by the daytime attack?
