Put it all his bottles over the weekend and on his sores topically just once. It’s Monday morning and it’s like he never had it. Usually takes 10 days and it’s a nightmare.
Thanks, horse paste! ;)

First, who said I gave it to him five times per day? And second, I’ve taken an entire tube of the stuff over 48 hours before just to really see what the side effects would be. Nothing. You know too much water can kill you too, it’s called drowning. This stuff has one of the highest safety profiles in the world. But if you want to show me the stats on all the lethal overdoses on it I’ll happily wait.
Or just drinking too much water without the electrolytes, etc., can kill you as well.
Yeah funny enough I actually almost did this once before I knew it was a thing. Had been fasting from food and water for almost 48 hours and decided to work myself back in with water first. It tasted so good though I just kept going back to fill up my water bottle at the airport drinking fountain. I don’t remember how much I drank but it was a lot. By the time my girlfriend came to pick me up I was starting to feel delirious and my fingers and toes were numb. She was a nurse and scolded me pretty heavily. Apparently it was a pretty dangerous situation and I had no idea.
Why criticize OP when OP got rid of their kid's hand, foot, mouth disease quickly and painlessly... you should be ashamed of yourself for your thoughtless comment. Good job, OP, way to be a great parent. Wish the world was filled with more parents like you.
You obviously dont get it… people turn to these boards for advice… some , like yourself, dont use discernment when assessing credibility of a post… you rather cheer on OP for sucking down a fill tube of horse paste (as he called it), rather than question… my post was about putting useful information on this board like dosage per day (by the way, maximum ever recorded safe dosage per day per adult is 200mg, standard protocol calls for 24mg day 1, 18mg day 2, then scall back to 6-12 mg for the next 3-5 days) People who are desperate for alternative info outside the scope of medical information, would read his post , and under duress, feed their child, a tube of horse paste. Which intern, could potentially kill their child… be smart ….a chan anon you are not…
Still waiting on that overdose data there jimbo. Ivermectin’s about as dangerous as table salt. The actual amount you’d need to overdose is insane. Get over it.

What is the reliability and source of this ‘scope of medical information’?
There are all kinds of people who will abuse a pound of cure. This forum and this post does not diagnose or suggest a treatment. It’s stated as an anecdotal testimony. It is up to the reader to investigate for themselves. What you are suggesting is unethical.
thats what scares me. how do i know how much to take?? 32 y/o male btw
From 2018 Tarrascon Pocket Pharmacopoeia's section on Antiparasitics: Ivermectin (Stromectol) Scabies: 200mcg/kg PO (orally) on day 1 (3mg for 15-24kg, 6mg for 25 to 35kg, 9mg for 36 to 50kg, 12mg for 51 to 65kg, and 15mg for 66 to 79kg) repeat dose in 7 to 14 days. Peds head lice: 200 or 400 mcg/kg PO on days 1 & 8. Single PO dose of 200mcg/kg for strongyloidiasis, 150mcg/kg for onchocerciasis. Not for children less than 15kg (side note from me--hah, tell that to all the malnourished children in India and Africa who take ivermectin like candy). Take on empty stomach with water."
Dr. Ardis talks about the safety profile of ivermectin all the time... there really is no OD effects except that you get sick from the rapid release of toxins when your body's parasites, etc. die off too effectively for the rest of your body to keep up. They did a study on this (I don't have the time to look for it, do your own research on PubMed, etc. try looking on luxxle.com for it).
If you're going to do a good parasite cleanse, be sure to support your liver and kidneys, stay hydrated, and support your gut at the same time. Also a side note, while ivermectin is pretty much the only treatment for river water blindness, it can also cause a rare side effect in some people that causes temporary eye changes. Of all the hundreds of people I know popping horse paste tubes and ivermectin pills, only one person had eye issues. It resolved after a few months. Try a small dose and see if you have a reaction, just like anything else. Do your research. Also, cool plus to taking ivermectin--it only kills the bad stuff, and it encourages your good gut microbiome to thrive.
It's per weight either human or horse. Most here have taken it without problems. It comes with little notches on the tube. I usually take an pencil eraser amount, so not that much. I give spouse a little more as he is bigger, like twice my weight.
I’ve literally emptied an entire tube into my system in less than 72 hours just to see what the side effects would be since I hadn’t had any yet and I was working up the nerve to give it to my wife and kids and I wanted to be sure. Supposedly enough for several horses. No side effects.
You’d have to try pretty damn hard to overdose on this stuff. If I found my kids playing with a bottle of tylenol I’d take them to the hospital without a moments hesitation. With this I’d probably just chuckle and say “no no noooo.”
The safety was one of the reasons it won the Nobel Prize for medicine. They could ship it to the poorest rural communities to cure River Blindness, even though the people had no medical personnel to distribute and the population was uneducated if not illiterate. And the reason they could do that was that it is virtually impossible to overdose.
One notch for 50 pounds.
