Fair point but by all accounts Italy is onboard with Q operation. Note the Italians who came fwd regarding them being involved with the online 2016 stealing of the vote. If you search here you can probably find it.

This group has become more powerful than the mafia. They expanded into Northern Italy which is where most capital and industry are.
The Mafia was also the subject of previous maxi trials, so I don't know about the "suddenly" or cleaning up. This has been going on for a while.
Some members of the were arrested in a gun running/drug running scheme in a bakery near my Mom's house about a decade ago. It was a good bakery. A couple of local crime families were involved.

In one of Jack Carr's novels he explains how it is much more efficient to take out terrorist networks, or organizations not by cutting of the Head-of-the-Snake, but by eliminating the Arms and Legs so to speak. I think he calls it cross-sectional targeting, and indicates it was a lesson learned in Iraq.
When you take out the head, only one head need be repositioned for normal operations to continue. But when you takes out people at the lieutenant level, the operational level, these people are very difficult to replace.

So, maybe taking out the seemingly unconnected criminal organizations is similarly taking out one more corner out of the foundational structure of the globalist cabal.
