Americans need an extra $11400 to afford basic necessities from CBS. Do how do we fix this once its over?
🗣️ DISCUSSION 💬
This is going to be a near impossible hill to climb to get back to even close to the 8 ball. They burning the house down on the way out. How do we fix this? Ive been thinking about it quite a bit lately. Idk if its appropriate for the board but its a real question.
Sorry whats CBS? What do you mean close to 8 ball? I do think there is a good discussion lurking beneath this post, but you will have to repost it keeping in mind not everyone knows what you are talking about - so try and set the premise and explain your thinking. It will be a good discussion as this seem to be broadly about inflation.
I think OP is referring to this :

.
He/she is likely lamenting the financial/economic devastation the DS is wreaking on the country (and the world) and wondering how we’ll ever recover from this.
Thanks
The corporation is bankrupt....the republic is not
How do we fix this? The same way we fix anything - hard work and dedication.
IMHO… when the smoke clears we’re looking at a 17-mile high mountain of problems to fix. It’s going to take years if not decades - glorious, high-energy years filled with elation and no small amount of wonder at how we survived the beast system for so long. It’s only by God’s grace that we’re still here and it will be by God’s grace that we survive and thrive. ✝️ That’s how I see it, anyway.
Drill baby drill, close the border, cut off all foreign aid, deport all illegals, abolish the IRS, convict lawless people, reopen the mental Institute, execute all child predators, seize all property of foreign and domestic election cheaters, big infrastructure projects to help the homless that want help, cut off welfare to all who are capable of working, and incentives to start a small buisness. I think that will put us well on the way.
What if we cut ALL foreign aid and BS spending, and sent the money back to fhe people? Not "Stimulus" but tax cuts- serious, massive cuts. I always laugh when people like Steve Bannon (who I like alot, and believe fo be a Patriot) talk about "the debt crisis"....End the Fed, debt goes away. End the IMF and World Bank along with the Fed, kill the entire Bretton Woods system that props up central banks across the world. Gold based currency, liquidity standards for lending, end stock buybacks, drill like crazy, mine like crazy shut down the EPA and make America the best place in the world to do business- if you keep your money in America. The standard of living enjoyed in the 1950's would blow most of us away- the ability own a home, two cars, make enough to allow a parent fo stay home, and pay for kids college-all on a single income. We can get there again. With courage and the right leadership it wouldnt take long. I do ageee though- there has to be a step change for the better on the way out of this. Too many folks budgets are stretched to the max. Incrementalism needs to die, we want a new paradigm!
Best we can hope for is a return to a balanced budget to stop the inflation. I don’t see prices ever going back down.
That said, what I learned in 2008 was that the cabal protects the cabal, so today we’ve got $2T budget deficits. Tomorrow it will be $3T or $4T. Inflation is going to go nuts. They have to protect the debt. They have to protect the companies and the money laundering.
So get a job that raises wages with inflation. Skilled labor will do well for a while. I bought a house ten years ago, that was hard, but super easy now that my wages have risen with inflation.
Yes, but when they make budget cuts, the media goes on a rampage saying they're starving women and children.
I learned a few years ago how our schools think about budget cuts. Let’s say this year the school district gets $100 from the state. Next year, they ASK for $120. The State gives them $110. The schools will scream that their budgets were cut by $10 and they need levies and donations to fill the gap.
And if they cut foreign aid, the media will show pictures of women and children in danger.
Stable currency should fix it. Gold-backed currency would stabilize the economy.
For an easy-to-understand explanation of this, read The Tuttle Twins and The Creature From Jekyll Island. You could also get the Angel app (or go to the Angel website) and watch the Tuttle Twins episode called The Inflation Monster.
