Maybe this holiday season is a good time to have that "special talk" with friends and neighbors.

Did you know that Treasury Agents responsible for investigating counterfeit currency don't study various examples of counterfeit bills? They learn to recognize counterfeit money by spending hours and hours studying genuine U.S. bills, so that when they encounter counterfeit currency, it immediately stands out to them. I have studied the Holy Bible for the past 30+ years, having read through it more than 12 times. As a result, I recognize false religions posing as Christianity. Some day you will be held accountable for succumbing to the false teaching of Mormons. I'll pray that God can help you to break free from that cult. This is my last post on this.
Please share the details of how we are a counterfeit religion.
I am sure something in the Bible will contradict at least one of our teachings.
Look, the fact that the Mormon church began in the 1800's is all anyone needs to know it is a counterfeit religion. It is as valid as the Church of Scientology, also invented by a man, but about a 100 years later than Joseph Smith invented Mormonism. It's also as valid as Islam, invented by Mohammed a few hundred years after Jesus. Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega. He came in bodily form the first time, and will be coming again. Keep on believing what you do at your own peril. I'm confident, based on the words of Jesus, the teachings of His disciples, and the prophecies of the Bible, that my salvation is secure. You can be sure of your own salvation but you MUST repent of your allegiance to the Mormon church.
Whew... I never swore allegiance to the church, just to Christ.
I guess I am safe then!
I don't understand your logic, though. Can you name the years in which God is allowed to reveal his secrets to his servants the prophets (Amos 3:7)? So the 1800s are all out... what about the 1700s or 1900s? Is God forbidden from speaking to his prophets in those centuries too?
Can you tell me where in the Bible it says God will not speak to prophets in the 1800s?
Revelation 22:18-19 I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book.
Deuteronomy 4:2 Verse Concepts You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.
Proverbs 30:6 Verse Concepts Do not add to His words Or He will reprove you, and you will be proved a liar.
Proverbs 30:5-6 Every word of God is tested; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. Do not add to His words Or He will reprove you, and you will be proved a liar.
Deuteronomy 12:32 Verse Concepts “Whatever I command you, you shall be careful to do; you shall not add to nor take away from it.
Matthew 22:29 Verse Concepts But Jesus answered and said to them, “You are mistaken, not understanding the Scriptures nor the power of God.
Mark 7:13 Verse Concepts thus invalidating the word of God by your tradition which you have handed down; and you do many things such as that.”
Genesis 3:1-4 Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Indeed, has God said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?” The woman said to the serpent, From the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat; but from the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said, You shall not eat from it or touch it, or you will die.read more. Matthew 24:24 Verse Concepts For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.
