You may, but there's a huge difference between freezing your expression on purpose as you assimilate information while tracking your desired list of questions plus listening to a producer's input all at the same time, and simply being at a total loss of thought.

It always looks funny to me, almost like tucker is in a trance immediately after his interviewee begins answering his questions

I hate that look, personally, but I can understand it after a very brief stint in a similar circumstance. It was mind-boggling.
