I lived out there for a good bit. I definitely get what you're saying about the 'feel'. Let us not forget, The Exorcist literally takes place in the heart of Georgetown.
There's a huge difference between thinking something and saying something in public and then another huge difference when you are speaking it to an audience of millions. Any reasonable person would make damn sure about any statement they make under those circumstances. He could have been thinking these things years ago and only recently had the stage and confidence to speak them.
My Dad used to say that so matter of factly. When I was young I thought he was being too cynical. If he was alive today he'd probably try to have me committed for my conspiracy theories LOL.

“I’m embarrassed to say I sort of bought the conventional view of most things up until several years ago,”
Tucker points out how the U.S. government knew about the Pearl Harbor attack before it happened but did nothing to stop it.
“I think it’s really clear...the U.S. government knew or had an understanding, there was a very high likelihood that our Pacific fleet would be hit,”
He argues that the government let Pearl Harbor happen on purpose to make the United States join World War II.
“… that’s a monstrous crime, you should never allow your countrymen to be killed. I just can’t even imagine that.”
Tucker views this as a serious betrayal, raising ethical concerns about such decision-making.
Still blown away a guy that bright didn't ask questions earlier in life.
He grew up in Georgetown.
Point zero for pure evil in the world.
I went to DC about 6 months after Sundance (conservative treehouse) did.
He was floored by the evil.
I thought he was being melodramatic, until I went there.
Georgetown is pure evil. It permeates everything.
Get a coffee in the morning and the ugly old women walking dogs are spawn of Satan.
Succubi everywhere you look.
Go to Arlington National Park and you will feel the Good wash over you as you cross into that cemetery.
Like a beach tidle wave.
And that is a cemetery. Only place where I felt goodness.
DC and Virginia are evil places.
Probably, why they bury the honorable dead there.
Distraction of some evil persuasion.

St Elmo’s Fire also takes place in Georgetown.
Had no clue, but makes sense. Wow, the makers of that film saw it as well.
Sounds similar to the feel/vibe I got when living in Geneva, NY for 6 months way back doing a co-op during college.
I didn’t remember that until the Finger Lakes biden crap came out...
Geneva is on the north end of Seneca Lake.
Nuf said?
Georgetown... we know who runs that.

You are talking about Rhetoric. And yes, you are right.
It is good.
He might have only been shown the info recently. Or maybe he was waiting…
Tucker was raised with the finest Socratic Greek education available at the time.
His father was CIA president of Voice for America for 5 years.
That means his father specialized in propaganda for "the other country".
Lol, we all know now that the other country is actually us, those that love our country.
Gonna be hard for me to ever trust Georgetown Tucker, but is fun watching him do this thing of his.
One last thing.
Where are the inner city kids of "color" that are being taught the Trivium?
In my life, I have never met a black person that knows about Logic, Rhetoric and Grammar.
Never met one, but a couple did and do exist.
Douglas, who debated Lincoln and Sowell today.
Sad.
Many normies are followers. They need to see a guy like Tucker evolve publicly in order to make them feel comfortable doing the same thing.
Pied piper
Fair to ask, however that goes for many scholars and historians, people you would expect to ask more questions than what the public narrative is
Sometimes we end up seeing events that resonate and change our perspectives, causing us to question more than we used to.

Boy if he’s asking questions about Pearl Harbor, just wait until he starts asking questions about the holocaust. That’s gonna break his fucking brain!
