Facts. Back in the early 2k's I delivered for Papa John's. I kept a little black book of addresses of people who were assholes, didn't tip, or complained over nothing trying to get a free pizza. These MFers were ALWAYS the very last to get thier order if you were on the list. I'd never "add ingredients" or shake it though, it'd just be cold.
Conversely, those who tipped well and were friendly were always the first on the list and got their pies still steaming out of the box. Sometimes they'd get a free pie from "someone that canceled their order", but would also be steaming hot.
Yeah, I did the same... A few months back I ordered pizza from a Marcos Pizza a few blocks from where I live. I waited and waited more than an hour and no pizza. I called them up and canceled the order telling the manager I could have walked there, ordered, waited, and walked home faster. I always tip. Apparently since I was close the delivery driver saved me for last. Now I won't order because retaliation might occur. Silly drivers.
I worked for Dominoes twice, Pizza Hut, and Papa Johns, when you switch you can answer the phone wrong lol.
I don't like ordering delivery. I go pick up the food myself.
That way, it's hot when I get it, the food goes straight home in a few minutes... and I know exactly where it's been and how it was handled.
I don't want cold food, slow delivery or mystery ingredients added.
Pizza Delivery drivers know the bad customers and will shake your pizza.

Yeh, I took care of my best delivery customers.

That's a straight up dumb driver. An always tipper that close would always be at the top of my list....and were.
Help these days...sheesh
