Easier said than done. Without God's help, such serenity is very very difficult to acquire and keep. If you desire peace in your soul from the Prince of Peace Himself, then you must make supplication.
As a practical measure, I would recommend some moderate fasting and abstinence. Fasting meaning maybe go a day with only water or with a single meal (no need to overstress yourself), and abstinence meaning a decrease in the quality of food for a day (e.g. no meat, no sugar). If you have mastery over your base animal appetites, then mastery over your emotions will become an easier path to follow.
And a lot of liberals I sense are without any peace in their hearts and minds. They are always stressed out and anxious and not resting in God but in material things like drugs, entertainment, sex, and constantly harassed by the demons that oppress them.
Deus Vicit!
Eloquently stated !
Thank you for putting into words so articulately what I felt like what's going on w/ us as individuals and society. I agree w/ fasting and trying to do that to end the year. When I fast and hungry, I put God first before my body and I'm able to think clearer and feel closer to God. One would need to experience fasting to understand what you're talking about.

Ahhh my favorite !!
While a very wise quote that a lot of people should take to heart, there is no evidence that Bruce Lee said it.
He absolutely would have, though.
I have always thought Bruce Lee was assassinated because he had too much of an impact and influence on mass amounts of population. He was teaching them things that would give us momentum in life and the evil cabal tribe didn't like that.
HT cyberhunter.
Didn't Bruce also say Speedy Gonzales was funnier after Hashish?
balance is important, with this you can do things
do not confuse balance with doing things, we actually have to do something
If this resonates with you, check out the Stoics: Marcus Aurelius, Seneca, et. al. This is what I've clung to after ditching religion.
