Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley said she would pardon former President Donald Trump if he was convicted of federal crimes.

It's actually hilarious that she thinks this is a smart thing to say. At least 80% of republicans support Trump.

Saying " I'll pardon Trump" is like saying "Trump committed crimes even though he hasn't been convicted yet, but I'm so kind that I will let it slide" which is an insult!

Trump didn't do anything bad and saying he did makes people hate her more.

It goes to show she's totally out of touch with her target audience.

If Trump were pardoned, no court would hear any appeal. It would be moot. A Trump pardon would be a cloud.
