I totally agree. And, I think we need to call this type of predictive programming out everytime we see it, so others will start to recognize it as well. I was watching this seasons "hells kitchen" Neither the sweaty chefs or the D list actor / customers were wearing masks, but the servers were. All of us need to point out how "priviledged some of these people think they are compared to the lowly servers. Disgusting!
Interesting point. Makes me think - were (are) masks going to be a reason authorities demand some kind of remote ID reading tech. But then I am exceptionally paranoid..

They never did, that's why I never wore one, anywhere.
I never could figure out why they spend so much on cameras everywhere and facial recognition software...and then insist everyone wear a mask.
Well it doesn't look good but maybe they did it to partially conceal their identity!
