Only ONE of the 7 election years listed has a LOWER number. Meaning, historically this isn't a high number at all, it's actually on the lower end. 55 didn't in 2022 and 2018.
Also, only 9 of them are leaving office early, which again historically isn't very high.

45 so far. For context it was 55 in 2022 and 2018 and 53 in 2012, so I wouldn't read too much into it yet. This is quite a low number historically.
