Does this just mean student debt will be wiped out or all types of debit/loans?
My guess is mortgage and personal loan interest will be replaced by a minimal service fee at worst or wiped at best. Sovereign debt will be gone. (US: 34 Trillion)
Potentially. I suspect and hope that the debt if retained will be heavily discounted.
It would be great if all loans would be either completely forgiven, or at the very least 100% of past payments are put towards the principle amount. This would fall in line with no usury, though that 40 year jubilee being used again would be so awesome for everyone who is crushed by debt. Though those who are living on retirement from multiple investments would likely have a pretty large decrease in their income.
