The way it’s written gives it a strong possibility of leading the reader to believe that the bill was actually for the shot itself. Which if they don’t read the full story, and just scroll to the next one, won’t know that’s not the case.
I didn't read it that the bill was for the shot. I read it as it ended up costing that in medical bills. That is where my first thought went. Why would someone be charged millions for the shot? Everyone knows they were free. I think it is def a reader problem too.
Well, if we get right down to it, the title says "Family Billed 7.5 million dollars after “free” covid shot." It does not say "for free covid shot."
I too came away, before reading article, thinking that the family was billed for the covid shot.
What this boils down to is a poorly composed headline.
As a side question: Have you ever heard of the Chicago Manual of Style? First time I heard of it was last night listening to a Justinian Deception (Romley Stewart) video.
Wall Street Journal had a headline article today, titled "Cancer is striking more young people, and doctors are alarmed and baffled."
The fact that they used the term "baffled" is yet another little breadcrum making me think media has been captured by WH and using it to gradually awaken the sleeping masses.
And may we accept nothing less than vengeance against those who worked to perpetuate this mass killing and censorship of those who fought to expose it.
Lots of based comments on that one.
I upvoted them all.
What a scam.
Can say the same thing about the title of this post. Misleading at the very least
What was misleading? The shots were free and she and her family have been billed 7.5 million.

you guys clearly don’t understand subtle nuances in language, so i can see how you can think that

...the shots were "free" ??? Just stop and think about that statement. Do you really think Big Pharma does anything for "free" ??? Do you pay taxes???
I didn't take it that way.
Doctors are baffled.
