The US spends a lot of time planning which country to have its next war in. One day, and that may be sooner than they think, one day someone will decide to hold their next war somewhere in the US.
I'll start with a famous statement: "All wars are bankers wars." To start the dive into this I ask the following: With all the ships loaded with gold and silver from the new world (1550 onward) to Spain, one would think they would be the richest country on the planet. Ship after ship went back to Spain, or to the east to buy silk etc. What happened to all the gold? Well.... at the same time Spain was having the inquisition, followed up with holy war with France, followed up by war with Great Britain, all sponsored by, oh and funded by the Vatican. All the gold went to the Vatican and to their bankers (I believe the Dutch/Rothchilds???). They ended up broke. Look no further than the bankers/Vatican to start and fund any war. All of them. All the money had to be borrowed. We in the US can just print it, but that is really borrowing from the privately held Fed Central Bank. If no Fed, and we print the money, it is just inflation without having to pay it back with interest. As it is, we are borrowing from the Fed, along with inflation, and so all the income tax is just to pay the interest on that loan. We will never pay off the principal; just keep raising the debt limit....
Unless DJT makes a 30 trillion $ coin and hands it to the Fed and says we are done; go pound sand. Let them cash that somewhere.
They raise the interest rate and we raise taxes and send more money. It is amazing how we have been at war almost continuously throughout our history. So, bombing anyone to protect democracy, the poor, etc., is just plain BS. We find "the enemy" everywhere, and just keep the narrative going: war on communism, war on terrorism, war on drugs, war on MEGA. All the wars just keep on going and we never WIN. That's my 2 cents worth.

Gen Smedley Butler, USMC (Ret) - "War is a racket"!
Interesting. My grandfather served in the Spanish-American war also. Anyway, thanks for comment. Will research Butler more.
