Death penalty and execution should be swift. It sets an example for others. The death penalty instills fear of the law, and saves lives.
No it doesnt because the death penalty means they will spend the next 20 or 30 years going for appeals and most of them get it reversed. The death penalty will only be powerful once they start killing them right away instead of waiting for 20 or 30 years. If they can do that you can start removing the scum but for some reason it means nothing the way it sits.

Where did he learn the craft of beer stealing? Maybe some of his hood buddies should be held along side of him for teaching him the fine art of theft. I feel sorry for him because his education level was so low that he never figured his sentence would include the death penalty. His mother, father, aunts, uncles, teachers and hoodrat friends share responsiblity for his lack of education.
He was educated by the media, and the justice system. He watched TV and social media video as dozens of times his people stormed stores and emptied them. Often they even burning them to the ground. Or he saw them walk in one at a time and take as much stuff as they could carry in their arms or bags.
He saw and read where the 'authorities' in some areas changed the laws to where if their theft was less than a thousand dollars the police would not pursue them of even investigate.
In his and many of his peers the all clear to be a thug had been issued. Killing someone meant no more than the stealing. He saw his homies kill each other on a regular basis.
The real point is NOTHING IS BEING DONE TO THE CRIMINAL. The PTB have unleashed their Orc Army on the people to terrorize them and get them to beg the PTB to take away their weapons.
WEAPONS that are their only true defense, and in addition when the people do defend themselves the PTB go after them. Our whole system is rotten to the core, and it is going to have to come down.

As of now more than 50% of Americans are illiterate or almost iliterate you have the worst educated people in the world.
